hello. I’m Anne Van Wagener.

For more than thirty years I've worked as a graphic designer and creative director creating brands, publications, campaigns, branded environments, websites, apps and more. Synthesizing words and visuals into stories that move people. I love to play at the intersection where brand, product, design, and content meet, finding the thread that makes a message coherent and alive.

I believe that great design, like great art, is really just storytelling. That instinct runs through everything I make, whether I'm leading a team, shaping a product experience, or standing alone in front of a canvas.

I am currently the head of brand marketing at Insidesource, where I get to flex my creativity in the workplace interiors arena. I spent 25 years working in media for orgs such as MSNBC.com, Today.com, The Poynter Insititue and The Tennessean, where I learned from the best about visual journalism and storytelling.
